Glad that you’re here!
My Academic Career
In 2020, I graduated Polk State Lakeland Collegiate High School with both a high school diploma and an A.A. from Polk State College in Liberal Arts with Magna Cum Laude distinction. At Lakeland Collegiate, I was the President and Team Captain of our school’s Academic Team and competed with other schools in the state of Florida. Before graduation, I was awarded the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship and the USF Director’s Award before entering my freshman year of college.
At USF, I dedicate time from my studies in many student organizations. In my most active organization, Students for Justice in Palestine, I serve on the executive board as Vice President and spread political and cultural awareness of the conflict going on in Palestine to USF’s general student body. I also participate as a member in other organizations including the National Society of Black Engineers, Whitehatters Computer Security Club, the Google Developer Student Club, and The Muslim Connection.
Outside of academia, my interests include sports, music, fashion, cooking, anime, and games in all mediums. I currently work as a Grocery Clerk at Publix Super Markets to help develop and polish my soft skills to carry over to the tech industry.
I hope to post more about my experiences and projects in the future. Hope to see you there!
